Setting up the Livebox Internet Bonding Device

Double, triple, quadruple your Internet speed by using the Livebox Internet Bonding device. If you are facing network failover or if you want to maintain the bandwidth robustness while on live, you can gallop your current Internet connections to new speeds by using this bonding device.
To initially set up your Livebox Bonding device,
  • Turn On the Livebox Internet Bonding device.
  • And access the device interface on your PC using the IP 192.168.95.1.
  • On the device interface, pick up the Device ID and Hardware Key and send it to the IVB7 support team through Email.

    License Key

  • The Livebox support team, in turn, will send you the License Key.
  • So, after entering the License Key, you can click Save.

  • Now you will be taken to the Livebox Bonding device login interface and you can login. (The IVB7 team will provide you the login credentials)

  • Back on your system interface, you have to reboot the server first.
    Reboot the bonding server
  • Then go to Settings to configure your Bonding device.
  • To configure the device, enter the Server IP and Server Key provided by the IVB7 team and click Submit.

  • Now Insert SIM cards with data in the slots given on the device.
  • Then you have to reboot each SIM card.
  • Reboot the SIM cards on the Livebox bonding server
  • Then you can set your SIM cards status.
  • Note:
    Master- When you set a SIM as Master, it plays the role of the main SIM card.
    Backup- When the Master SIM card fails, the Backup SIM becomes
    the Main card.
    ON- All the turned ON SIM card data combines to the Master
    SIM card.
    OFF- You can Turn OFF the SIM you are no longer using.

  • You can also select the Network for each SIM card.

Once you set up the above settings, the bonded Internet of your SIM card data will take into new speeds.
And you can use your blazingly-fast bonded Internet either through LAN or Hotspot option.

To make use of the bonded Internet,

  • You can get Internet connectivity through the LAN cable.
  • Otherwise, you can go to the WIFI option and turn on the Hotspot button.

  • And by using the ID and Username, you can get to use the fast Internet from the Livebox Bonding device.

Wi-Fi

You can also merge your mobile data or any other Wi-Fi connections along with the inserted SIM data by turning on the Wi-Fi button.

Password Settings in Bonding Device

For your initial login, the IVB7 team will be providing you with the login credentials. In the case, if you want to change the device password according to your comfortability,

  • Go to Change Password, where you can enter the New Username and Password.
  • And then confirm your Password.
  • Finally, click the Change Password button.

Note: Don’t forget to keep the record of your changed passwords, as Livebox won’t hold the responsibility of the lost passwords.

Factory Reset in Bonding Device

You can restore the services running on the Livebox Bonding device to its original state in the Service Monitor settings.

To reset factory for the services running on your Bonding device,

  • Go to Service Monitor.
  • In the Service Monitor page, it shows the status of all the running services. You can also Stop or Restart the services if it requires.

Bandwidth Checkup on the Internet Bonding Device

To check your Internet Bonding device bandwidth usage,

  • Go to the Bandwidth Monitor menu from the Bonding device dashbord.
  • Here you can monitor the bandwidth usage of each of your SIM cards, Ethernet or Wi-Fi connections on Hourly, Daily, Monthly, Yearly wise.

And without sparing any effort you can get the bar graph and data table of your Bonding device bandwidth usage.
