User Device Activation

  Device activation is for Livebox TV mobile app. The user registers to your service by installing the mobile app when the authentication is enabled. So with the registered information, you can activate your user’s device to get access to your service.
Note: The admin can also manually create a user by using the user creating specifications within the Livebox TV.
To activate your user’s device,
  • Go to Devices from the navigation menu.

  • In Device, enter your username, device type and give the appropriate device ID.
  • Set a package for your user and then give Add.

  • Now go to Manage Device click the Activate button to initiate your user’s device activation.

  • A dialog box asks, Are you sure to Activate?, you can give Yes.

  • You have now successfully activated your user’s device. Anytime you can edit or deactivate the service to your user’s device in Manage Device.

But in the case of a website, if the authentication is enabled, just enter the user details and assign subscription to activate the service to your user.

The Livebox TV Mobile App

  The Livebox TV is available to the user in both websites and in the mobile app.
In today’s scenario, most of the world’s population uses mobile phones, so the presence of a mobile app of your channel can make you connected with your viewers 24/7. Thus by not constraining yourself only to the website, you can also switch between a mobile app for your Livebox TV.
The Livebox mobile app is user-friendly and the following steps will help you to understand the Livebox TV better.
  • Install the Livebox mobile app.

  • Now you are looking at the first step of your mobile app. Wait for few seconds and you will be connected to the login portal.

  • Through this login portal, the user can register to subscribe your TV channels.
    Note: If your user registers from their mobile to subscribe to your channel, it is enough of you to activate your user’s device in your Livebox TV Manage Device option.

  • In the Livebox TV app, the user can get their mobile device ID by clicking the option provided at the top corner.
    Note: The device ID is very important for the activation of your Livebox TV service to the user device.
  • The registered user can log in to your Livebox TV by entering their Email and password stay in touch with your service 24/7.

  • The user can access your different channels from the navigation menu.

The Livebox TV Settings

To make changes to your Livebox TV Settings,

  • Go to Settings from the navigation menu.

  • In Settings enable the following buttons based upon your needs,,

  1. To distribute your contents to your website, turn on Enable Website, you can also get the link to your website below this option.
  2. If you want to keep website interface authenticated, then turn on Enable Website Authentication.
    Note: If the website authentication is turned on, then the user can access your website only by logging in with their username and password.
  3. If you want to keep your TV’s mobile app authenticated, then turn on Enable Mobile Authentication.
    Note: If the authentication for the mobile app is turned off, then the user can access your app without manual device activation. It is required only to give the user details and a subscription package.
  4. Then give Submit to get your settings applied.

Backup and Restore

To backup and restore your data,

  • Go to Settings from the navigation menu and click the HTTP Settings option. test

  • Now go to Backup and Restore page and enter your backup file name in Backup Filename and click the backup icon to backup your files.

  • Click the drop-down menu near Backup Files and select your file (your backup will be restored within a few minutes). If you want to download your files then click the download icon and save your file to your local disc.

  • If you want to upload your backup file or change the file, then click Select file Change to select the downloaded file from your local disc and then give Upload.
