Live Streaming Social Media Contents to the Livebox Channels

To live stream content from social media to your channel follow these steps below:
  • Login to your LiveBox dashboard.
  • Now click on your Queues option.
  • Click on Create Queues option from the drop-down.

  • In the Create queues window, you can choose the YouTube option to add your video’s link.
  • You can now go ahead and fill the requirements in the platforms provided above like: queues, task name, and priority.

  • Now you can go to YouTube and select the video that you would like to stream.

  • Copy the link and paste it in the provided platform.
  • Click on the List quality option to select the quality for your video.

  • Now select your destination by clicking on the Destination button.
  • Select the channel you want to stream in for Available Channels.
  • Select YouTube_default for Select a Preset option.

  • Now click on the button streaming using queues.
  • Go back to the Create Queues’ Dashboard.
  • Click on Select a queue and select your queue.
  • You will be able to check the status of your live streaming video on the screen.

  • You can also go to the main Dashboard and find your channel to check if it is streaming.

Live Streaming on Facebook Using OBS Studio

  • A Push Destinations window opens, select your streaming channel and then click the Add Destination button located on the right side or the thunder button on the left side to select your destination.

  • A dialog box Share on with several destinations shows up. As you wanted to stream live on Facebook, select the Facebook option and click then Push live stream to Facebook to get connected to Facebook.
    Note: If you select the option Automatically TURN ON when adding push value, the live stream will automatically begin to happen on your Facebook destination once the live streaming set-up is done. Otherwise, you have to manually turn on the push value to continue your live streaming on Facebook.

  • In Facebook login page login with your credentials.

  • You are now logged in. Select your sharing option and click Next.

  • Once you click the Next button, a Connect your Live stream to the Live API Facebook page opens, you can minimize the window to see your Facebook destination being added in the push destination.
    Note: If you didn’t select the Automatically TURN ON when adding push value option, then you have to Turn On the push value to start your live streaming.

  • Then go to Facebook, where it starts to fetch your Livebox contents for streaming.

  • Your contents are now fetched, so you can give nice description and title to your stream and also decide the audience to share your live stream with.
  • Then click on the Go Live button on the right bottom corner.
  • You are now on live streaming on Facebook.

Though the Livebox offers multiple ways for live streaming purpose, it is always easy and simple to conduct live streaming using the Livebox, and the following steps will help you in achieving your first YouTube live streaming.

To live stream on YouTube through the Push Destination method,

  • Create your channel in Livebox.
  • Encode a stream to your RTMP server channel in Livebox.
  • Preview your live on the Livebox Dashboard.

  • Once you choose your YouTube account, you will get a notification from Livebox stating Created Successfully and now you can give OK.

  • In your YouTube main page click the icon from the top right corner and select Go live.

    • A new page with streaming specifications opens where you can select the Stream BETA and go to ClassicLive Streaming located near the bottom right corner.

  • A Creator Studio page opens, where you can fill your requirements in Basic Info and Stream Options.

  • Once you click the OK button, you can minimize the window to see your YouTube destination being added in Livebox server. You are now on YouTube live.
    Note: If you didn’t select the Automatically TURN ON when adding push value option, then you have to Turn On the push value to start your live streaming.

  • Back on YouTube, YouTube’s live streaming platform is ready to receive the live content from the Livebox server.

  • The live streaming content from the Livebox server is now fetched on YouTube and it is on live.

  • To check your live stream, go to YouTube and click My channel from the top right corner.
